Dr. Ronald Meisel
Dr. Ronald Meisel, a native of Mt. Clemens, attended Olivet College graduating with a B.A. in Biochemistry. In 1989 he received his medical degree from the Michigan State University - College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served his internship and orthopedic residency at Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center and completed his board certification in 1996 through the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He completed recertification in 2006 and 2016. He is a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Michigan Osteopathic Association. Dr. Meisel has been practicing orthopedic surgery in Macomb County for over 20 years. He specializes in hip and knee joint replacement, arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder and knee; hand and foot surgeries and fracture care. Dr. Meisel is an Assistant Clinical Professor for Michigan State University - College of Osteopathic Medicine and an Instructor at the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Training Program at Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Meisel has remained active in soccer since his days on his college soccer team, volunteering his time coaching a local high school team and playing in a men's recreational league. His interests include sports, music and history.
